Bob is Vice President of Fidato Corporation. Previously, Bob McKinley worked as a consultant around the world providing leadership to the transportation industry at some of the most forward-thinking facilities worldwide including Saudi Airplex Consortium, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi International Airport. Previously, Mr. McKinley held the position of Vice President Business Development for Transportation at Alien Technology where he introduced innovative strategic tracking solutions using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) for asset, baggage and passenger tracking. He was instrumental in bringing this technology to Hong Kong International Airport.
Mr. McKinley served as Assistant Deputy Director, Security and Airport Systems for San Francisco International Airport where he developed and implemented key security initiatives after 9/11 including the most sophisticated baggage inspection system in the United States. He was instrumental in SFO's comprehensive integrated security program and remains a member and participant in the Airport Director's Security Advisory Board. Mr. McKinley was the primary terminal systems coordinator responsible for the operational readiness processes and activities that supported the successful opening of SFO's $2.5B International Terminal. Prior to his leadership role at SFO, Mr. McKinley held several executive positions at Northwest Airlines, Republic Airlines and Hughes Airlines including Vice President Customer Service where he managed all facets of customer service operations including: ramp operation, direct passenger service operation, airfield operation, weight and balance, cargo and operations planning.
Mr. McKinley holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics, University of San Francisco and a MBA, Case Western Reserve University. He proudly served in the United States Army.
