Donald is Vice President Technology and Senior Software Architect of Fidato Corporation. Donald Fowler has over 20 years of experience in various leadership positions designing technology solutions as an architect and software developer. His contribution impacts presales, design, engineering and consulting for the transportation industry. Recently, Mr. Fowler has designed and implemented state-of-the-art asset management systems for both aviation and rail transportation.
Previously, Mr. Fowler held the position of Senior Software Architect at Quatrotec, Inc. where he was instrumental in the success of the Stargate RFID security portal which created software algorithms to identify and singulate RFID tags as they move through a portal on a conveyor system.
Prior to Quatrotec, Mr. Fowler served as Senior Software Architect at GE where he architected the next generation (V2) multiplexed explosive detection system (EDS) network. He was also instrumental in designing the Viewlink product that allowed clients to quickly develop an add-on to existing EDS systems that improved operational throughput resulting in client retention and millions of dollars of additional revenue.
Mr. Fowler holds several technology professional certifications including Microsoft@ Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist – SQL Server@ 2008 Implementation and Maintenance, Netapp Certified Data Management Administrator (NCDA), Pelco Endura Certified System Designer and Verint Nextiva Certified Engineer.
Mr. Fowler has been published most recently in Java Developers Journal Volume 3, Issue 6 entitled, “Creating and Developing a Java Class Wizard.” He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, North East Louisiana University.
